Car crashes into pond near Terminal C at Orlando airport

According to Orlando International Airport officials, there was a crash on Saturday near Jeff Fuqua Boulevard.

A vehicle was found in a retention pond next to the Terminal C entrance, and one person had to be pulled out of the car.

Airport officials said the person rescued from the car was taken to the hospital. No one else was injured. A lieutenant with the Orlando Police Department said the person rescued from the car was a young adult male.

The crash led to some lane closures near the entrance to Terminal C, but all lanes were back open by 7:30 Saturday night.
